WISWEX Istanbul 2015 - Day 1

18 April 2015 | Turkije, Istanbul
Today I woke up early in the morning. My father and I picked up Tom and we were on our way to Rottoerdam Airport. We already checked in online, which saved us a lot of time. We boarded the plane and our adventure had begun.
After a pleasant flight we arrived at Atatürk airport. We were picked up by our contact person (Mr.Erkalan) by car. The weather today was really nice, approximately 20°C We noticed that the traffic in Istanbul is very crowded and busy. To drive there some driving skill is required ;)
We had lunch with Mr.Erkalan and discussed our program.
In the evening I had dinner with Tom at a kebab house. We really enjoyed our food. After dinner we explored Istanbul a bit by tram. We walked through the city center and saw some nice mosque's and the big bazaar. After some nice cups of turkish Çay we returned to our hotel.
Tomorrow we will continue our trip and monday we will start working at Dual Dental. We are really looking forward to see more of Istanbul and start working.
